Rep. Weber Hosting Mobile DMV in Spring Grove

State Representative Tom Weber (R- Fox Lake) is partnering with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to host a Mobile Driver Services Unit at the Spring Grove Village Hall, 7401 Meyer Rd, from 10am-2pm on Friday, April 22nd.

“I’m pleased to be able to bring convenient, local DMV services to the district by appointment,” Rep. Weber said. “Avoid the lines, and knock something off your to-do list quickly.”

At this event, local residents will be able to renew their vehicle stickers, obtain a renewal, replacement or correction of a driver’s license or state ID card, complete a Motor Voter Registration with a renewal of a driver’s license or state ID card, and/or complete an Organ Donor Registration with renewal of a driver’s license or state ID card. Due to the enhanced security requirements, REAL ID Driver’s License/State ID Card are NOT offered at this Mobile Services Unit event. The requirement to obtain a Real ID has been further postponed by the federal government until May 3rd, 2023.

Proper identification is required for all of the above services. Standard Secretary of State fees will be required. At this time the facility is unable to accept cash. Please bring a check, credit/debit card, or money order to pay for any services received. Further information regarding the services, fees and identification requirements may be found at the Secretary of State’s website at www.ilsos.gov or through this link.

Given the limited timeframe for the event, appointments are required through this link. For questions or more information, please call Representative Weber’s district office at 847-629-5439.
