On Monday, State Representative Tom Weber visited The Home Depot in Volo for a tour and a chance to speak with their staff about all the work they do in the community. “I was blown away to learn about how active their team is volunteering in the community and supporting our veterans.
“Not only was I greeted with my own customized smock, I was also greeted by Veterans R&R and one of the horses in their Operation Wild Horse program that supports veterans, active-duty military and their families.
“Besides hosting their own food pantry at the store and other volunteer activities, the team at the Volo Home Depot also recently volunteered to rebuild the front porch for a local veteran, which includes a ramp to improve accessibility!
“Thank you for the tour, and keep up the great work!”
