McHenry Co. Property Taxes Due Sept. 12; Treasurer holding Saturday hours

From McHenry County: The second installment of McHenry County property taxes is due Tuesday, Sept. 12.

This year, the McHenry County Treasurer’s Office has waived fees for people paying by electronic check (e-check). You can pay by e-check through the Treasurer’s Office website at treasurer.mchenrycountyil.gov, or by phone – click here to learn more, and click here to watch a video showing how easy it is to pay by E-Check.

If you wish to pay your property tax bill in person, the Treasurer’s Office, 2100 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and will also be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9. Besides the walk-in lobby, the office has four drive-thru lanes and a 24-hour drop box.
