The University of Lake County is hosting a fall Open House scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5, from 6pm-8pm. They will have a guest speaker presenting on Self-care for the adult learner: Strategies to manage work/life balance, mental health, work stresses, and student life. This is in-person event is open to the public and of no charge.
The University Center of Lake County is now offering scholarships to students who are currently enrolled with a University Center program or recently accepted into a University Center program with one of their member universities. The deadline is September 29, each award is $2000, available for both graduate and undergraduate students. Additionally, they have a $7000 scholarship for a paraprofessional fellowship.
