The Illinois Office of Broadband and the Illinois Broadband Lab (a part of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity) is hosting a public meeting with local officials from communities and entities in the northern and western parts of McHenry County on the draft Illinois State Digital Equity Plan. The meeting will be held on January 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the McHenry County Administrative Building.
The meeting will discuss the Illinois State Digital Equity Plan, intended to increase access to broadband internet services to all communities, and how to submit public comments the Illinois Broadband Lab website – Click Here.
The meeting will also discuss the BEAD mapping challenge and how public participation will
enhance the Illinois State Digital Equity Plan.
