Weber Admonishes Legislature for School Closure as Scholarships End

Speaking on the House floor, State Rep. Tom Weber expressed frustration and sadness for the families and students of St. Bede School in Ingleside. The school announced that due in part to the state’s failure to extend the Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program for low-income students, which funded approximately 15% of students at St. Bede’s, the school will be forced to close at the end of this school year.
