The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is inviting the public to learn more and comment about the preliminary engineering and environmental study for improvements to Illinois 120 (Belvidere Road), between Illinois 60 and Almond Road in Lake County.
The proposed improvements are anticipated to address safety concerns and accommodate existing and projected travel demands. Improvements may include additional lanes, medians, auxiliary lanes at intersections, as well as pedestrian and bicyclist accommodations.
