Public Feedback Wanted for Rollins Road Improvements in Fox Lake

From the Lake County Division of Transportation: The Lake County of Division of Transportation (LCDOT) has initiated a study for improvements to Rollins Road in Fox Lake and public input is wanted!

The new study focuses on enhancing safety, capacity and non-motorized travel on an approximately 1.7 mile stretch of Rollins Road from Grand Avenue to Washington Avenue. Improvements are expected to include expanding the road so it has a consistent turn lane running down the center, adding new sidewalks and paths, and improving drainage along the roadway.

Your ideas and suggestions will help guide us through this study. The project is in its early phases, with construction currently targeted for 2028 pending funding, project readiness, and land acquisition.

LCDOT created a virtual forum for you to share your ideas and questions through July 1, 2024.  Use the interactive comment map to provide an exact location of your input. All input submitted through the website goes directly to the project study team.
