The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has temporarily shut down recreational boating on the Fox River due to high water levels and debris.
Please also take advantage of the flood reporting system now in place through the Office of Water Resources at IDNR. Even if high water and flooding issues may seem obvious to those who live on the Chain and Fox River, IDNR needs this information so they can better prioritize projects to prevent future flooding and high water issues.
