I’m happy to share with you all that two schools in our district, Emmons Grade School in Antioch, and Valley View Elementary in McHenry, are receiving grants for habitat enhancement projects through the Illinois Schoolyard Habitat Grant Program. This program helps develop wildlife habitat on school grounds and helps our kids learn about nature hands-on.
