Yesterday, the General Assembly joined with law enforcement officers and families from across the state to pay tribute to Illinois’ fallen police officers at the Illinois Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony. This solemn ceremony honors the bravery, service, and sacrifice of those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
