State Representatives Tom Weber (R-Lake Villa), Steve Reick (R-Woodstock), and Joe Sosnowski (R-Rockford) will host a Legislative Listening Tour event from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9 at Doyle’s Pub located at 5604 Mill Street in Richmond.
McHenry County residents are invited to attend and share their feedback with area legislators on state issues. The listening tour event is being held to give members of the community an opportunity to discuss what priorities they want their local representatives to be focusing on this year and share any questions, concerns, or ideas they have before state lawmakers return to Springfield.
The Illinois House of Representatives is scheduled to return to Springfield in February for the start of the 2022 legislative session. The January portion of session was cancelled due to the recent surge in COVID-19. The spring legislative session of the Illinois General Assembly is scheduled to adjourn on April 8.
Representative Weber serves the 64th District, which includes portions of Lake and McHenry Counties. Representative Reick serves the 63rd District, which includes portions of McHenry County. Representative Sosnowski serves the 69th District, which includes portions of Boone and Winnebago Counties.
