Today, the Illinois General Assembly joined with firefighters from across the state to honor the firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty at the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony. Each year, we remember the sacrifice of these fallen heroes and recognize our firefighters who serve with courage, pride, and honor.
