Empower Illinois is a statewide Scholarship Granting Organization created in 2017 to serve Illinois children through the state’s Invest in Kids tax credit scholarship program. The scholarships provide parents a way to help their children find academic success.
Empower Illinois serves as a conduit for processing donations, scholarship awards and program compliance for approximately 80% of all Illinois private schools. It support schools and nonprofits in their tax credit fundraising efforts while assisting students and their families through the scholarship process that can help make their dreams a reality.
This year, the reservation form will be available at 6:30pm on January 15 to give families time to enter their information before submission at 7pm. The reservation will have two pages. On page one, you will enter basic information, such as parent name, student name, and contact information. On page two, you will review this information and click submit. Only after clicking submit on page two will you receive your first come, first-served timestamp.
