End Illinois’ Sanctuary State: Repeal the TRUST Act

The Illinois TRUST Act, enacted in 2017, made Illinois a “sanctuary state” for illegal immigrants. The TRUST Act forces ICE to carry out immigration enforcement in the streets instead of coordinating with local law enforcement to deport the worst of the worst. There are approximately 550,000 undocumented immigrants in Illinois, costing Illinois taxpayers over $3 billion. We must repeal the TRUST Act to end Illinois’ sanctuary state status and stop the flow of undocumented immigrants into Illinois.
